“Processing Online Payments & Cyber Security”

The 7-part Inspire eBusiness workshops, sponsored by the Department of E-Commerce and coordinated by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, will continue on January 13th.

The informational seminar, which will cover “Processing Online Payments and Cyber Security”, will take place at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce from 12:30-1:30pm.

The fifth workshop in the series will feature a panel with speakers including Florence Smith from the Bank of Butterfield, Audrey Gordon from HSBC, Vivian Curtis from First Atlantic Commerce and Isabelle Ramsay-Brackstone from Lili Bermuda.

The seminar will cover the benefits of implementing an online payment system, and the necessary precautions that need to be taken to protect the security of consumers and the business.

The Inspire eBusiness initiative was launched in 2014 to support and encourage the development of local e-commerce business in Bermuda. It aims to educate existing and potential entrepreneurs about the process of starting an online business and setting up e-commerce on their websites.
