Parents. Still don’t. Know. Which schools. They. Plan. To. Close
I say to parents. Forget about public school. Go without some. Toys. And send. Your children. To private school.

    • Three persons say to Frank:1. Public education is great.
2.Their teachers ARE committed to the best education for their youngsters.
3.Neither Grant Gibbons, nor Nalton Brangman nor W. Scott have a CLUE as to what is needed to encourage outstanding success in our public schools. Stick with PUBLIC SCHOOLS and stay involved, vocal visible and positive. IT WILL CONTINUE TO WORK!!!

    • Flower says:

Well if they were going to close some schools they would not go along with registration don’t you think…. They not that slow!!!! And please going with out a few toys is not enough for private schooling…. I’m sure you went to public school…

When are we going to start hiring the best teachers we can find, based entirely on merit?

  3. Acegurl says:

This is ridiculous. Have some testicular fortitude Mr Scott. It is blatantly apparent that schools have to consolidate. Just do it! Yes parents will object but if the process is fair and equitable to all stakeholders it will be a win win for all concerned, in the long term. People are by nature opposed to change and perhaps an experienced educator would have had abbetter handle on this issue, as it has now become a political football. The buck stops with you in every respect and you are receiving many bucks to make informed decisions…so just do it! Students, parents and teachers must be kept abreast of future developments, and your role is to do just that.
