Basketball: Hoopstars & Thundercats Win
The Cellone Island Basketball League continued, and saw the Hoopstars come out winners with a 55 – 44 over the Skyforce at the CedarBridge Academy.
Both teams have 4 wins on the season, Yontz Sutton led the Hoopstars to victory with 19 points, while the Skyforce got 16 points from Doarel Smith.
The second game saw the defending champions Thundercats defeated the Court Kings 68 – 50 picking up their 13th win of the season and keeping the Court Kings in the 4th seed spot. Mykel Glasgow scored 12 points for the Thundercats, while Jericho Tucker scored a game high 24 points for the Court Kings.
