Presentation Aims To Help “Keep Seniors Safe”
The Bermuda Red Cross and the Bermuda Senior Islanders’ Centre are teaming up in order to help to keep seniors safe in their homes with an upcoming workshop.
The event will take place on Friday, February 26 at the Devonshire Adventist Church Hall at 62 Roberts Avenue, getting underway at 12.30pm.
A spokesperson said, “Seniors are invited to the event which begins at 12.30pm with a cup of soup, fruit and light refreshments, followed by a presentation on keeping families safe when faced with emergencies.
“Special Buses will leave St. George’s [Ordnance Island] at 11.30am and the Hamilton Bus Station 11.45am The Island Wide Committee is asking for a donation of $5.00 to help with the cost of the event.”
