Red Cross Offers Psychosocial First Aid Course

November 5, 2015

The Bermuda Red Cross is offering a course on Psychosocial First Aid, with the workshop spread over three classes to be held on November 14, November 20, and November 21.

The course poster said, “With the increase of crime and other critical incidents affecting the community, the Bermuda Red Cross have identified the need to education and train key persons in the community to enable more to respond to these issues.

“Rather than be reactive, disorganised and passive, we have decided to take a proactive approach to work alongside other community stakeholders on behalf of the community. it is our hope that we can establish and implement community crisis response/service teams.”
