The Department of Community and Cultural Affairs in collaboration with the St. George’s Foundation is hosting a free screening of the film Freedom Quest: Blacks in Bermuda 1616-1834 on Thursday, 11 February at 6 p.m. at the World Heritage Centre at Penno’s Wharf, with Craig Simmons as moderator.

“Due to popular demand, the Department and the St. George’s Foundation have worked together to offer a second screening at 8 p.m. The free screenings of the film are being offered on a first come, first served basis, so interested members of the public are encouraged to arrive early,” a spokesperson said.
