School Reorganisation Consultation Extended

March 8, 2016

The Minister of Education Wayne Scott has extended the school reorganisation consultation until 1 April, 2016.

“The Ministry of Education has received many responses from parents, educators, and members of the community. The Minister also received requests from stakeholders to extend the period within which submissions can be made,” a spokesperson said.

“As a result, Minister Scott has decided to allow more time for all stakeholders and members of the community to consider the SCORE Report, the issues it presents, and to make consultation submissions.”

Minister Scott stated, “I encourage all those who may possibly be affected to participate in this process. I am reviewing the responses which have been made so far and look forward to reviewing any further responses made by 1st April 2016.”

“Stakeholders are encouraged to make submissions on the SCORE Report to the Ministry of Education toeducationconsultation@moed.bm. The SCORE Report and the consultation document are available at www.moed.bm.”
