yup looks wonderful from the sky, but on land not so pretty specially the nasty comments from a certain sector on island.

    • smh says:

How do you turn something positive into a negative? What a damn idiot!!

      • Zevon says:

Yeah, she makes a nasty comment complaining about nasty comments. I guess she is that “certain sector on the island”.

      • TO: SMH….The point is CORRECT. TOO MANY SOCIAL, DISTURBANCES.
It is cautiously and discreetly implemented…..daily!!!
        No IDIOT there.

You would have to agree, it’s great promotional footage inna? “drunken ursula” :-)

  3. Ex drone enthusiast says:

Nice footage, only if the average hobbyist could film and sell their footage without having a ridiculously expensive license. If itwasn’t $3000 for a license there would be more competition and innovation in the drone footage area in Bermuda. Good for bda aerial media and a few other affluent drone enthusiasts for having essentially a monopoly on the aerial media industry. Who wants to pay $3000 for a license plus insurance and $500 every year for renewing it only to sell your footage for pennies.

    • big lad says:

Now just imagine if everyone owned a drone and could make their own footage. There would be a lot of drones in the sky, which would make it harder to actually police what people are using the drones for. Some of these restrictions are put into place for specific reasons.

    • Zevon says:

Good. Drone licences should be expensive. I hope you have to take a competency test as well before flying that thing over people.

    • PhD. says:

If you can’t afford a $3000 license, maybe you should pick a cheaper hobby. Kites are on sale this time of year.

  4. Raymond Ray says:

I have to agree, far to much $…

  5. Charlly X says:

Im Happy to see the footage !! Looks great !
As for the price for drone permits , three thumbs up ! Pay to play !! For Obvious reasons . My couutry is beautifu!!!!! l . My privacy is priceless as well !!

  6. reddamtibi says:

Disgrace- there is nothing left for future generations – it has all been sold away…unless of course we start to develop our parks, farmland and golf courses…yes lets pour concrete over the whole lot of it.

  7. George says:

A great video shame about the sound track!

  8. Sherlene Smith says:

Same old same old , only some live in Bermuda.

  9. Triangle Drifter says:

Great, after you turn the sound off. Hardly island promotion music.

That $3000 is to pay people to sit around & do little till it is time to push the paper each year. Necessary? Yes. Steep price? Also yes. Also yes, these things need liability insurance.

  10. UmJustSaying says:

Stupidity wins again. Drones are additional security devices just like the guys sitting on the wall in your neighborhood. Built in security,FREE. We always seem to find a way to put a $ in the equation. Keep kicking me and asking for my help.
