BPS Advises Public Of Female Involved In Scam

April 28, 2016

The police are advising the public to “be on the lookout for a female” who shows up at residences asking to use the bathroom or for a drink of water, then “rummages through the dwelling looking for for cash and or goods.”

A police spokesperson said, “Police are advising the public to be on the lookout for a female who shows up at residences around the island with various schemes to solicit money which include: asking to use the bathroom or for a drink of water, then unbeknownst to the occupant, she rummages through the dwelling looking for for cash and or goods.

“Another method used is: she states that her cycle has broken and she needs money for gas. It should be known that this female typically targets residents of seniors.

“She is described as a 5’3 female, brown complexioned, medium 140-150, brownish/green eyes prominent scar on her face and lips.

“Anyone having any information on this matter should contact  CID on 295-011.”

@Hurricane — if the police actually HAVE a picture, why aren’t they posting it? Typical stupidity. Maybe we don’t ALL know what she looks like. Idiot.

  13. Ray Ray raymon Ray says:

If I were allowed to post a picture or call a name here I would. As soon as I saw the description, eye color, scars etc. I immediately knew who she is. I am surprised the police don’t know, given she has numerous run in’s with the law and locked up a few times.

She has been seen a lot lately in the friswells hill area as well, as she has been to my grandmothers house knocking. She has been confronted by a family member and hasn’t been back there since, but has been to other houses in the area. We have to protect out seniors.
