Racket Blazers Junior Tennis Tournament Results
Grotto Bay Tennis Club hosted their Racket Blazers Junior Tennis Tournament over the weekend at Grotto Bay Beach Resort in Bailey’s Bay.
Sponsored by Cedar Aviation Services Ltd., this was the 1st of the quarterly tournaments in the Racket Blazers 2016 series. Twenty-four competitors participated in QuickStart format matches utilizing Green Ball and Orange Ball.
This format allows the kids to gain play experience and confidence by rotating and playing multiple opponents in short, continuous matches with graduated lower pressure balls.
Sunday’s Red Ball match was postponed to May 1st at 9:00 am as a result of the rain.
The results of the Green Ball and Orange Ball matches were as follows:
Orange Ball -Girls 12 & Under
