“Serious Issues With The Ongoing Brown Water”

April 18, 2016

“We are calling on the OBA Government to address the serious issues with the ongoing ‘Brown Water’, affecting residents in the Prospect and Cedar Park areas,” said a joint statement from Shadow Public Works Minister Dennis Lister and Devonshire North Central MP Diallo Rabain.

Mr Rabain and Mr Lister said, “This is by no means the first time that this problem has become an issue for the residents, who have had to deal what seems to be a recurring ‎health hazard.

“Government is aware of the problem, but just being aware is not good enough; a permanent fix needs to be found by the Ministry of Public Works. Government cannot continue to be deaf to the concerns of the affected residents; what is needed is action not silence.

“At the very minimum, an investigation needs to identify the cause of the problem and steps required to resolve it permanently. Following that, then a plan of action needs to be put in place to ensure that the health and wellbeing of the residents is not compromised. The Government must act swiftly.” ‎

Yes, it’s an on going problem and of course we will / do hear constant objections from the P.L.P. reps. yet we do NOT hear them giving any solutions as in many others general problems… :-(

    • BLOW IN says:

ITS ONLY JUST HAPPENED, since ODA came to power correct, OTHERWISE THE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY would have fixed it years ago.

  2. I heart 441 says:

Ummmmm, they said this… “This is by no means the first time that this problem has become an issue”, so they where aware of this issue when they where in Power. IJS
For the record, I’m neither PLP or OBA, I’m for team common sense and logical!

  3. Grizz says:

So if you’re dealing with common sense and logic why even bother bringing up what happened when they were in power! How long have they not been in power? Focus on the CURRENT problem! The blame game gets so damn boring!

    • I heart 441 says:

      1. I didn’t blame anyone 2.PLP where aware of this problem in the past, so they brought it up. 3. How is my common sense and logic relevant to what you are even saying?

  4. Kathy says:

UNACCEPTABLE EMERGENCY! Sounds like a simple broken or cracked pipe under the ground somewhere…find it and fix it FAST! No one should have to deal with brown water!

    • BLOW IN says:

water in pipe under pressure water in ground not under pressure, so water leak from pipe , HAVE YOU GOT THAT YOU DUMMY ???
