Seminar: Medley of Current Industry Issues
BFIS and Drinker Biddle’s Insurance Regulatory and Transactional Team are co‐hosting their 5th annual seminar on Thursday, June 2 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Princess Hotel. A cocktail reception will follow the presentation.
This year the discussion is titled: ‘A Medley of Current Industry Issues: New Exposures/New Products, Regulator Competition and U.S. Solvency Modernization: 2016/17 Landscape’.
Topics covered include developments with possible regulatory compliance implications, such as litigation funding, autonomous vehicles, Zika, and drones. The panelists will also discuss cyber issues, regulating by consent order, the U.S. Department of Labor, and more.
The speakers on the panel include the following Drinker Biddle attorneys: Michael Byrne, Michael Halsband, Parimah Hassouri, and John Mulhern.
The Moderator for this event is Drinker Biddle partner and co‐head of the firm’s Insurance Regulatory and Transactional Team, Thomas Dawson. Drinker Biddle Chairman Andrew Kassner and Executive Partner Robert Juelke will attend the event and introduce the speakers.
