Francis Patton & Whitney Institute Pupils Engage

May 13, 2016

Earlier this year, the Student Lighthouse Team from Francis Patton Primary engaged with the Whitney Institute Middle School Student Council in student-led leadership workshops, allowing members to “experience academic success, social maturity and become responsible, caring, global citizens.”

A spokesperson said, “Teaching leadership skills is necessary for the growth and development of a student’s school and social life.

“Being able to dissect, discuss and reflect on specific leadership qualities helped Whitney Student Council members to ‘experience academic success, social maturity and become responsible, caring, global citizens’ and assisted with Francis Patton’s mission to “develop leaders one child at a time.”
