Tomasz Tabor Golf Tournament In September
The 3rd annual Tomasz Tabor Memorial Golf Tournament and Raffle is scheduled for Monday, September 19, 2016, with the event serving to raise funds to provide scholarhips for those studying the hospitality field.
A BHI spokesperson said, “On September 21, 2015, the 2nd Annual Tomasz Tabor Golf tournament was held at the Riddell’s Bay Golf Club.
“The tournament and raffle raised $25,000 and was donated to the Bermuda Hospitality Institute to maintain three hospitality scholarships that were created in Mr. Tabor’s name following the 2014 tournament.
“One $10,000 scholarship will once again be awarded for overseas studies and two $5,000 scholarships for local studies. The scholarship winners will be announced this summer.
“The additional $5,000 will be used to sponsor a Junior Chef Culinary Program in July 2016 for children ages 10 to 15.
