This Evening’s Harbour Nights Is Cancelled
This evening’s [June 8] Harbour Nights event has been cancelled due to the forecast of inclement weather.
The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce said, “We have made the decision to cancel Harbour Nights for June 8, 2016 due to the forecasted inclement weather. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to having Harbour Nights next week.”
The Bermuda Weather Service has issued a Thunderstorm Advisory valid for this afternoon through tonight, and their forecast for today said, “A frontal boundary will affect us today, with strong winds at times and gale force gusts around showers which increase this afternoon with a chance of thunder into tonight.”
