Tropical Storm Colin has formed in the Atlantic and according to the Bermuda Weather Service it is a “potential threat to Bermuda,” with its closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hrs forecast to be 404 nm to the NNW at 11pm on Tuesday, June 7.

The Bermuda Weather Service’s forecast for Tuesday says, “Sunny breaks, becoming mostly cloudy by evening. Winds southwesterly moderate, gradually increasing south-southwesterly strong with gusts gale force. High near 28°C/82°F, low near 24°C/76°F. Clear sky UV Index forecast – 11 or extreme.”
