That’s MORE trouble :-( Why hadn’t it not been a Bermudians is a “$64000:00″ question? Especially when there are 2 able bodied Bermudians saving Govnt. $ that will be given to an “outside”.

    • Really Really BETTTY says:

No Surprise here…..after Heatley the Bermudians applicants were also told to get the prerequisite additional requirements, but does not look like this was enacted.

What happened to the other 2 Bermudians applicants. Evans while not born in Bermuda is married to a Bermudian.

Well if Bermudians and the Officers at the Ministry take this sitting down..
Well what does one expect. …..after all other non- Bermudians were hired as Directors at Ministry. ……no protest. ….really

    • Truth says:

The Ministry wanted someone with an actual qualification. Not just a Bermuda passport.

  2. Young Bermudian says:

What in the world?!?!? Our kids need their own if we are ever going to make our island great again. A foreigner without ties to the island does not have my child’s best onterest in heart. We have abled Bermudians doing a great job. Where is the protest….I suppprt teachers and principals and ask that they vote no confidence in this new EC. I will not support this mess. The OBA has lost my vote.

    • Onion says:

The OBA didn’t choose the person. It is done by a non-political board.

  3. Jus Stopthenonsense says:

Interesting question: What responsibility do the Bermudians who run the Department of Education have for the state of Bermuda’s public school education system?

  4. Art says:

Wow! Take me to lunch to tell me I was not selected/hired. What a way to lose my appetite! lol

Sense is still not common. Again
