E-Tax System To Be Unavailable Tomorrow
The island’s E-Tax system will be unavailable tomorrow [July 20] due to technical difficulties, with tax payers able to file and pay their returns from 8.00am on Friday, July 22.
A Government spokesperson said, “Due to technical difficulties, the E-Tax system will not be accessible tomorrow, Wednesday 20 July 2016 as previously anticipated.
“Tax payers will be able to file and pay their April-June 2016 payroll tax returns from 8am Friday 22 July 2016.
The deadline for filing and payment without penalty is 11:59pm on Wednesday 27 July 2016.
“Should you require an extension, submit your request in writing to the Tax Commissioner via email at lmpeniston@gov.bm.
“Thank you for your patience.”
