Video: Bermuda Fish Chowder On Rhode Show

July 24, 2016

The island’s distinctive Bermuda Fish Chowder was recently featured on cooking programme ‘Rhode Show Kitchen,’ with Chef Michael “Sully” Sullivan of Gulf Stream Bar and Grille in Rhode Island preparing the dish.

Calling the chowder “the official soup of Bermuda,” Chef Sullivan prepares the meal with a variety of fresh ingredients, with the accompanying recipe on the programme’s website calling for the dish to be served “with a shot of Gosling’s Black Seal Rum and Outerbridge’s Sherry Pepper Sauce.”

How does anyone make fish chowder like this and have the audacity to call it Bermuda Fish chowder. That picture may well be fish soup but it surly is not from Bermuda. Shameful, he should be arrested. “Smile”

We Bermudians know our fish chowder….and that’s not fish chowder. It may be fish soup or stew.
