New OBA Deputy Chairs: Kempe & Outerbridge
One Bermuda Alliance Chair Lynne Woolridge today [July 26] announced the appointment of two new Deputy Chairs, Nick Kempe and Nandi Outerbridge.
“Both Nandi and Nick have been involved with the OBA since it was a fledgling political party and both were candidates in the 2012 General Election,” the OBA said.
“Nandi is the MP for Constituency #2, St. George’s West House Leader, Party Whip and Junior Minister for Social Development and Sports as well as Chair of the Future Bermuda Alliance.
“Nick continues to work in Constituency #18, Pembroke West Central, is Chairman of the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation and a prior Caucus Chair.
“As there were no other nominations for the posts, Nandi and Nick were appointed by acclaim and there will be no need for a Special General Meeting to hold elections.”
Senator Woolridge said: “I welcome the experience and enthusiasm our new Deputy Chairs will bring to the party and offer my congratulations and support as we continue to move Bermuda forward.”
No other nominations! Does that mean lack of interest in performing the roles?
Funny how the OBA tends to select most of their party positions by acclaim.
These two politicians may be able to enhance the economic development of Bermuda. At this juncture in Bermuda all hands are needed to tackle the many issues that confront this great nation.
We must be looking at two different sets of people.
Kempe is a good choice. Hoping he can continue to be a Free Thinker in his new role and doesnt get swallowed up in the BS like Mr. Crockwell

Did you expect any better? I voted for Nandi but she has proven to be a SELLOUT on many issues that will affect our children in the future! Enjoy your ride while it lasts! You won by 4 votes and I have 6 family members that voted for you!
