Court: Man Charged With Possessing Firearm
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [August 19], a 23-year-old man was charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm.
Quincy Simmons was not required to plead, but was ordered to appear at the October Supreme Court Arraignments as his case will be tried in the Supreme Court.
Simmons was charged with unlawfully possessing a firearm in May 2015, and with unlawfully handling a firearm between 2010 and May 2015.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo granted Simmons $10,000 bail with a like surety, and ordered him to report to Hamilton Police Station twice a week.
