  3. bundy1232 says:

mmmmmm forgot to mention that there was a whole lot of white washing in these adds but I guess it was during segregation unfortunately!

  4. Wow says:

Fun for white people, not so much for everyone else.

    • Cheerio says:

You moron, lots of blacks came to bermuda and were rich in bermuda back then, stop perpetuating MYTHS to feed your condemnable ego and fanciful fairytales.

    • Onion Juicy says:

It was an ad to come to Bermuda and was aimed at the demographic that had money. Not many blacks had money so the ad wasn’t aimed at them. Marketing, not racism.

  5. I went on Youtube several months ago to do research and found it very interesting, that there are so many uploads on there of the old Bermuda and how it use to be, but the one thing that stood out the most is the lifestyle of the rich in this country and the rich that came to visit.

The documentaries are so informative but also highly highlights that blacks were merely just workers catering to the white elite, sad but true, not one documentary shows any influential black’s or blacks at any level of meaningful success.

It raised a lot of anger in me because I still the same mentality today among a high percentage of elite white’s. so another day but same crap.

The videos are very informative and i enjoyed seeing the old Bermuda but not the likes of highlighting one society over another.

So you’re annoyed about the way things looked in a 65-year-old film that was designed to attract tourists. In the 1950s.

  6. Cheerio says:

All you twits complaining it looks “too white” for your tastes, I suggest you go look at an African ad from the 1950s or a muslim add from the 1950s or a chinese ad from the 1950s or Thai add, etc etc… know what you will see? Chinese people in the chinese add, african in the african. and in bermuda you saw whites. You got a problem with that? Grow up and shut up.

You are a true idiot and those who liked your ridiculous comment are worse.
