Nicholas Christopher Appears On Lazarus Album
Bermudian actor and singer Nicholas Christopher is set to appear on the soundtrack for the musical Lazarus, a David Bowie inspired and created show.
Christopher will appear on the song “All The Young Dudes” alongside Lynn Craig, Michael Esper, Sophia Anne Caruso, and the original New York cast of the show when the album is released on October 21.
A Billboard.com story says, “A two-disc [3-LP] release of cast recordings from Lazarus, the David Bowie inspired and created musical, will arrive on Oct. 21. The first disc will include the New York cast versions of 18 Bowie songs — all of which were recorded on January 11, just hours after the icon died the previous night.
“The contents of the second disc have now been revealed and they will include Bowie’s final studio recordings in the form of three previously unreleased songs — “No Plan,” “Killing A Little Time,” and “When I Met You.”
The son of Hamilton crier Ed Christopher, Mr. Christopher’s brother Jonathan — an opera singer and musical theatre performer — recently starred in an acclaimed revival of “Cabaret” in Iowa.
