Photos: 2016 P.A.L.S. Mad Hair Day Underway
P.A.L.S. Mad Hair Day is underway today [Sept 16], with people invited to donate $5 to wear their hair in a “mad or crazy way” for the day, with the event serving to help raise funds for the organization.
A spokesperson previously said, “Please wear your hair in a mad or crazy way and donate to P.A.L.S., our annual expenses are now in excess of $1.45 million and we need your support.”
.
P.A.L.S. is a registered charity founded in 1980 to provide professional hands on care and support to cancer patients primarily in their own homes.
The photos below depict staff and students at Warwick Academy, Mount Saint Agnes Academy, Victor Scott Primary, and St. George’s Prep, and if you would like to share your photos from Mad Hair Day events, please send them to support@bernews.com and we’ll add them to the gallery as able!

Very Nice guys!!!!! It is really nice to see the young kids getting involved. Teaching them all about PALS and their reason for doing such and awesome event. I think if someone started a Kids Against Gang Violence Day, and have them dress up funky and teach them about gang violence then maybe just then when they grow up they wwouldn’t get invovled in gang violence and maybe we will have less gang violence.
Just saying.
