Ministry: Bus Route 8C Back In Active Service
The Department of Public Transportation has advised that Bus Route 8C [Cedar Hill] has now been returned to active service, and a decision will be made later today on restoring Route 1 from Hamilton to St. George’s via Tuckers Town.”
All the other bus routes returned to service on Saturday, after having been suspended due to Hurricane Nicole.
A Ministry spokesperson said, “The Department of Public Transportation has advised that Route 8C [Cedar Hill] has now been returned to active service.
“Work continues on restoring Route 1 from Hamilton to St. George’s via Tuckers Town. A decision was taken Friday to suspend bus service on the two routes because of complications in the aftermath of Hurricane Nicole.
“All other bus services returned to normal Saturday. A decision will be made later today on restoring Route 1 from Hamilton to St. George’s via Tuckers Town.”
