Swimming: Fletcher Sets New Bermuda Record
Bermudian Olympian Julian Fletcher competed in the 2016 FINA Short-Course World Cup Series in Singapore, setting a new national record in the process.
Fletcher — competing in heat three of the 50m breaststroke — finished 5th with a time of 28.65 which saw him finish 13th overall, and set a new Bermuda National Record.
He also competed in the 100m breaststroke, stopping the clock in a time of 1:02.92 to finish 5th in Heat 4 and 14th overall.
Fletcher then recorded a time of 2:21.44 during the 200m breaststroke, finishing 3rd in his heat and 12th overall.
