BUEI To Screen ‘Nekton’s Unexplored Bermuda’
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] and Nekton will present “Nekton’s Unexplored Bermuda” on November 28 at 7.30pm.
The event poster says, “Join us at BUEI Talks for a journey beneath the waves and into Bermuda’s unknown, unseen and largely unexplored subsea world. Oliver Steeds, Nekton’s Mission Director, will reveal some of the extraordinary discoveries made by the team during this summer’s Mission, including a previously unknown forest on Plantagenet Bank. Cutting edge submersibles, remotely operated vehicles and technical divers were all deployed in Nekton’s pioneering mission to explore the deep ocean around Bermuda.”
Along with the screenings, a Sushi Happy Hour will be held at Harbourfront from 5.30pm, with dinner opening at 6.00pm.
Tickets cost $20 for members, $25 for non-members and $10 for students, and are available by calling 294-0204 or visiting BUEI’s Oceans Gift Shop.
