Minister Attends Farmers Market Opening Day

November 20, 2016

The Bermuda Farmers’ Market reopened for the season at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday and Minister of the Environment Cole Simons, was on hand. “I am pleased to see the variety of items for sale.

“The Ministry of the Environment is happy to partner with the Farmers’ Market to offer a central venue where people can sell produce, farm-related items, plants and locally made or designed crafts directly to residents and visitors alike. I am hoping those with fish to sell and some of our young farmers and craftspeople will consider joining this regular Saturday event,” he added.
