Berkeley Institute Presents The Musical ‘Fame’
The Berkeley Institute Arts Department is getting set to present the musical ‘Fame’ from December 8 to December 10 in the Berkeley Institute Cafetorium at 7.00pm each evening.
Assistant Stage Manager, Prefect, Honour Student. and Student Council Member D’ziah Coddington said, “Our cast this year is extremely diverse and talented, and working with them has created memories that I know will last for a lifetime.”
“There are many different elements that have gone into creating the world of Performing Arts in the 1980’s, such as acting, dancing, singing, and live music from our orchestra.
“Along with our amazing set designs, we intend to create an unforgettable experience.”
“This year I have taken on the role of Assistant Stage Manager which is completely different from actually being out on stage performing. This position opens you up to the side of theatre that focuses on hard work, organization, leadership and serious dedication.
“It makes you appreciate the full spectrum of the arts and everything that goes into producing the spectacular productions that the Art’s Department always does.”
“Being a part of Fame has been such a great opportunity for me and it has been amazing seeing all of the different elements come together to create what I know will be a phenomenal performance.
“Tickets can be purchased at The Berkeley Institute School Office and on bdatix.bm $20 for general tickets and $50 for patrons. I’m very confident that this will be a show that you don’t want to miss.”
