Ensemble Singers To Perform At St. Anne’s

January 27, 2017

Fresh from singing at the opening of the Bermuda Festival, The Ensemble Singers will be performing in concert at St. Anne’s Church at 4.00pm on Sunday, January 29.

The concert is a fund-raising event of St. Anne’s in celebration of its 400th anniversary.

A spokesperson said, “The programme will feature popular spirituals arranged by Moses Hogan, as well as secular and religious songs in Latin, Hebrew and French.”

“This programme delighted the congregation of Union United Church in Montreal, Canada when the choir performed there in July of last year.

“The two songs sung at the Bermuda Festival got a great response from the Bermudian audience. The Ensemble Singers is a 12-person group and is one of Bermuda’s best a cappella mixed choruses singing in four-part harmony.”

Tickets are $25 for general admission and are available at People’s Pharmacy, 27th Century Boutique and The Harbourmaster in The Washington Mall, or by calling 338-8000.
