“The annual street festival is due to commence on 3 May and run through to 30 August. Front Street will host Bermuda’s largest and longest running street festival, with offerings from local artisans, crafters, chefs, musicians and other entertainers, and of course, the Gombeys.
“The Chamber invites those who are interested in participating in Harbour Nights to attend a vendor information session on Wednesday 15 February from 5:30PM to 6:30PM at Gosling’s Wine Cellar, Dundonald Street in Hamilton.
“This meeting is for previous and new vendors to receive information on participating in this award winning social event. Interested persons can register for the session online at www.bermudachamber.bm or by contacting the Chamber at 295-4201, or emailing Korrin Lightbourne, Marketing and Community Outreach Coordinator at klightbourne@bcc.bm.”
Mr. Lightbourne stated: “This year, we’re looking to do our part in maximizing business opportunities in anticipation of America’s Cup. We realize that visitors look for authentic local experiences when travelling, so we would like to incorporate activities highlighting the essence of Bermudian culture.
“With America’s Cup taking place on and around our island at the height of the summer, we can expect an increase in visitor numbers, resulting in a busy and lucrative summer. We see this as an attractive opportunity for local vendors, coinciding with our mission to cultivate the best environment in which all businesses can prosper.”
“Harbour Nights was also a recent recipient of the Trip Advisor Award for 2016 and consistently scores high marks with visitors and locals alike,” the Chamber said.
“It should also be noted that vendor registration is now open, applications will be accepted until Monday, 6 March 2017. If you or your company is interested in participating, or becoming a sponsor, please call 295-4201.”
