Basketball League: Fly Boys & Thunder Cats Win
In Bermuda Island Basketball action inside the CedarBridge Academy Gymnasium saw yet another double-header, this time producing 244 points on the night.
In the opener, the Fly Boys pick up their 11th win of the season after they defeated the Twister 61 – 51. Keiron Burgess led the Fly Boys with 30 points on the night, while Steve Smith and Alex Butterfield both scored 12 points apiece for the twisters.
In the nightcap the Tsunamis went down for only the second time this season falling to the Thunder Cats 72 – 60, Chris crumple led the Thunder Cats with 19 points, Dean Jones scored 25 points for the Tsunamis.
