Video: ACBDA Holding Business Info Sessions
This week’s ‘Minute with Mikaela’ highlights the America’s Cup information sessions, saying “we encourage all local business owners or anyone with ideas regarding AC35 to come out and learn how to make AC35 work for you.”

During the Minute, Mikaela Pearman said, “We’ve talked about the ACBDA’s Local Biz Connect, which was launched last year. The group is tasked with guiding local business owners and entrepreneurs to connect with opportunities for the 35th America’s Cup.
“Coming up is a series of information sessions on specific and varied areas of business relating to AC35. Topics range from vendor opportunities, marine services, land and water transportation services, and location specific services.
“Three sessions will be held at St. Paul’s AME Church Hall. Island-Wide Vending is on February 28th from 6 to 9 p.m., Land And Water Transportation on March 1st from 6 to 9 p.m., and Entertainment is on March 2nd from 6 to 9 p.m.
“The West End information session will cover West End focused business opportunities on March 6th at Willowbank Resort Conference Room from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The final information session will focus on East End business opportunities on March 7th at Bios in St. Georges from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
