Video: Local America’s Cup Themed Products
This week’s ‘Minute with Mikaela’ highlights local businesses offering America’s Cup themed products, saying there are about a dozen local businesses that have permission to sell products with the America’s Cup logo.
During the Minute, Mikaela Pearman said, “They’re known as licensees and many have developed products specifically for the 35th America’s Cup. This week, we’re taking a look at a few of these locals who have capitalized on Bermuda hosting AC35.
“TABS founder Rebecca Singleton has created designs inspired by the speed and agility of the boats and Bermuda for her collection, made up of Bermuda shorts, swim shorts, and more.
“Lifestyle Co. duo Carlita Burgess and Miki Richardson-Caines started their business once Bermuda won the bid and sell a variety of branded items, including waterproof canvas bags, metalware, umbrellas, and more.
“Davison’s of Bermuda has produced a line of AC commemorative shirts for adults and children as part of their offerings. The line includes souvenir tees, polo shirts, and sweatshirts.
“Tiny Wins the America’s Cup in Bermuda is the latest offering from award winning author, Elizabeth Mulderig. Her goal with the story was to show children that they too could be winners and be excited about AC 35. We’ll meet more licensees in future episodes.”
