‘Spirit Of Bermuda’ Wins Awards In Antigua
The Bermuda Sloop Foundation’s Spirit of Bermuda sailed to Antigua to participate in the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta as well as the Antigua to Bermuda Race, and while in Antigua she participated in a gamut of activities, including the Antigua Classic Yacht Week.
The vessel and her crew did very well, with Spirit of Bermuda winning the Concourse de Elegance Arnie Frizzell Prize for the boat with the most grace and seaworthiness, while one of Spirit’s watch leaders, Dkembe Outerbridge-Dill, won the Sea Shanty Competition.
