8-Year-Old Injured In Motocross Cycle Crash
An 8-year-old boy was injured in a motocross crash in Pembroke this afternoon [June 4] and is “expected to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit,” the police confirmed today.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 2:25pm Sunday, June 4th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported motocross cycle crash on West Pembroke Primary School property.
“Details are limited at this time.
“However initial information suggests that the rider, believed to be an 8-year-old boy, was injured and taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment.
“The injured boy is expected to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and a further update on his condition will be provided in due course.
“Inquiries are underway and witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
