Berkeley Board Congratulates Michelle Simmons
The Board of Governors of the Berkeley Institute have extended their congratulations to Mrs. Michelle Simmons on her appointment by the Governor as an independent senator.
A spokesperson said, “The Board of Governors of the Berkeley Institute, is delighted to publicly congratulate Mrs. Michelle Simmons on her appointment by His Excellency the Governor as an independent senator in the Upper House of Bermuda’s legislature.
“Mrs. Simmons has had a distinguished career in the community particularly in education as the first woman to hold the substantive post of principal of our alma mater.
“The Berkeley family wishes Mrs. Simmons well as she discharges this awesome responsibility as a legislator.”
