Generation Next To Hold Town Hall On Aug 16
Generation Next is inviting all young people and their parents to attend a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, August 16th at 6.15pm in the Bermuda Industrial Union’s Dr. E. F Gordon Hall.
A spokesperson said, “Generation Next invites all young people and their parents to attend the Generation Next Town Hall meeting on Wednesday August 16th 2017 in the Bermuda Industrial Union’s Dr. E. F Gordon Hall at 6:15pm.
“Mr. Micah Davis, General Manager of the Bermuda Credit Union will provide a presentation to all in attendance on the importance of youth savings and fiscal responsibility.
“Mr. Micah Davis has worked within the Credit Union Movement locally and overseas for over thirty years. He has an MBA Banking and Finance [General Management]. He was recently appointed as the International Credit Union Development Educator by the World Council of Credit Unions, Madison Wisconsin, USA. He has been the CEO/General Manager of the BIU Members Credit Union Co-op. Society since 2008.
“Generation Next believes it to be of paramount importance that all of Bermuda’s young people areadequately prepared to make effective decisions with all their finances and resources. We are confident that through these efforts our young people will have a greater financial literacy and allow for a greater sense of financial independence.
“We are pleased to partner with the Bermuda Credit Union to provide this youth town hall meeting focused on financial education amongst young people.
“All young people in attendance who are interested in opening an account with the Bermuda Credit Union will be afforded an opportunity to do so without any opening fees. We look forward to seeing you there. The youth of today and leaders of tomorrow, Generation Next!”
