Clarien Bank To Match Donations Up To $10K
Clarien Bank today [Sept 18] announced the launch of a donation drive to support recovery efforts in the Caribbean after the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma, with the Bank set to match donations up to $10,000.
“Donations should be made directly to the Bermuda Red Cross account at Clarien Bank. The funds will support Red Cross societies from around the world currently assisting with the multi-country relief and recovery efforts throughout the Caribbean region,” Clarien said.
Clarien Bank CEO Ian Truran commented: “Thousands of people throughout the Caribbean have been devastated by this catastrophic storm. It is my hope that the entire Bermudian community will join us by showing our collective support and donating to this important effort.”
Clarien Bank will match total donations up to $10,000. Donations may be made to the Bermuda Red Cross account [4010035760] via iBank online, in-branch via teller and quick deposit.
Mr. Truran added: “We will not forget our friends in the Caribbean and want to help them by providing funds critically needed as they begin the difficult process of recovering and rebuilding.”
