Northshore Medical Welcomes Dr. Walczyszyn
Northshore Medical & Aesthetics Center is welcoming visiting Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Specialist Dr. Maciej P Walczyszyn.
Dr. Walczyszyn is a pulmonary & critical care medicine board certified physician who received his medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland.
He was born in Poland, and moved to New York City where he completed his residency and specialty training at Lenox Hill Hospital.
He is currently the Director of the Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Division at Flushing Hospital Medical Center part of the MediSys Health Network and continues to maintain affiliations with Lenox Hill Hospital part of the Northwell Health System.
Dr. Walczyszyn will see patients with:
- Asthma
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- Emphysema
- Bronchitis or Bronchiectasis
- Chronic cough and/or shortness of breath
- Interstitial lung disease
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Pulmonary embolism
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Sleep apnea
- Lung cancer
