Stolen Boat Washes Up By Admiralty House
A recently stolen boat was reported abandoned and washed up close to Admiralty House on August 30, with the Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre contacting the vessel’s owner.
A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said, “On Thursday, August 30 at 8.50am, Bermuda Radio received a call from a member of the public who reported that an abandoned 17ft Blue powerboat ‘On The Fly’ had washed up close to Admiralty House.
“Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre contacted the vessel owner, who reported that the vessel had recently been stolen from Royal Hamilton Amateur Dingy Club.”
