BPS Seeking Assistance Locating Stolen Punts
The Bermuda Marine Police said they are seeking the public’s assistance in locating anyone who has purchased, or knows of anyone may have purchased, a Walker Bay Punt or similar punts online over the past few months.
A police spokesperson said, “Bermuda Marine Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating anyone who has purchased or knows of anyone may have purchased a Walker Bay Punt or similar punts on Emoo over the last several months. In addition, the engines are a 6hp Evinrude outboard and a 4hp Mercury outboard engine.
“The Marine Unit is currently investigating the sale of stolen property via Emoo. The Marine Unit has also recently recovered 2 small outboard motors, a 4HP and a 6HP. If anyone has recently had such items removed, please contact PC 2225 Wheatley on swheatley@bps.bm or 247-1515.”
Sounds like a commercial dispute – let the parties resolve it in court.
