Football: First & Premier Division Results

X-Roads, Devonshire Cougars, Paget Lions, Southampton Rangers, Devonshire Colts, and St. David’s all walked away with wins in recent Premier and First Division football action.

Premier: PHC Zebras 2 Robin Hood 2

At the PHC Stadium, Premier Division leaders PHC Zebras and the defending champions Robin Hood played to a 2 – 2 draw. Antwan Russell who had a penalty saved, scored twice for Robin Hood, while Cecoy Robinson and Dunte Albouy scored a goal each for the PHC Zebras.

Premier: Dandy Town Hornets 1 North Village Rams 1

At the St. John’s Field, the Dandy Town Hornets and North Village Rams played to a 1 – 1 draw, Keishen Bean scored for the North Village Rams, with K’Wonde Lathan equalizing for the Dandy Town Hornets.

Premier: X-Roads 1 Young Men Social Club 0

X-Roads picked up their first Premier Division win ever recording a 1 – 0 win over Young Men Social Club, Jamin Furbert scored the lone goal of the game in the 45th minute.

Premier: Boulevard Blazers 0 Devonshire Cougars 3

Boulevard Blazers return to Lord’s in St. David’s as their home field was not the return they were looking for as they went down 3 – 0 to the Devonshire Cougars. Cashun Brangman scored twice, while Jomeko Mallory added the other.

First: BAA 0 Paget Lions 2

At the BAA Field, the host tasted defeat for the first time this season as the Paget Lions came away with a 2 – 0 win, with goals from Dion Stovell and DeMarlo Curtis.

First: Southampton Rangers 5 Somerset Eagles 1

The Southampton Rangers recorded a 5 – 1 come from behind win over the Somerset Eagles at the Southampton Oval. D’Andre Wainwright gave the Somerset Eagles the lead, but the Southampton Rangers would get two goals from Isaiah Taylor and single strikes from Shannon Burchall, Donte Brangman and Ezekiel Stoneham.

First: Ireland Rangers 1 Devonshire Colts 4

At Malabar, the Devonshire Colts defeated Ireland Rangers 4 – 1, Teniko Eve led the way with a hat trick, while Dominic Lambe added the other for the visitors, while Daunte Woods scored for the host from the penalty spot.

First: St. David’s 3 Wolves 2

At Lord’s in St. David’s, the home team defeated Wolves 3 – 2, St. David’s got goals from Mikkail Crockwell, Nasage Anderson and Franklin Chiroy, while Marcus Ming and Sergio Richardson scored for the visitors.
