Hamilton Princess To Host Teddy Bear Tea
Hamilton Princess & Beach Club will once again be hosting the popular Teddy Bear Tea events at Crown & Anchor on Saturdays and Sundays this December.
Children are encouraged to bring along a new teddy bear or other stuffed animal which will be donated to the Salvation Army and the Family Centre. These toys will be given to Bermuda’s less fortunate children as Christmas presents.
Santa will also be making an appearance at the Teddy Bear Tea and there will be opportunities for children to have their photo taken with him and for them to share what they would like to receive for Christmas.
The Teddy Bear Tea will take place between 3pm and 5pm at Crown & Anchor on the following Saturdays and Sundays:
- December 2 and 3
- December 9 and 10
- December 16 and 17
- December 23 and 24
A selection of sweet treats will be offered, including cupcakes, Santa-faced strawberry gingerbread cookies, crispy sweet rice wafers, chocolate brownies, macaroons, swan profiteroles, banana kebabs dipped in milk chocolate, colourful mini doughnuts as well as a variety of candies. Each child that participates will also receive a note from Santa and a party bag.
Diarmaid O’Sullivan, Director of Marketing at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “We are delighted to host the Teddy Bear Tea again this year, following its popularity in the past. This is the perfect opportunity for families to have fun while celebrating the spirit of the season and giving to others less fortunate.”
Tickets to the Teddy Bear Tea are $20 each with a teddy donation — or $29 without – plus gratuities. Adults accompanying children can order afternoon tea for $48, plus gratuities. Spaces can be booked by calling 298-2028 or emailing ham.diningreservations@fairmont.com.
