Photos & Video: Christmas Parade In Hamilton

[Updated with photos] The streets of Hamilton are lined with people this evening [Nov 26] as crowds have gathered to watch the always popular annual Marketplace Christmas Parade.

According to the traffic notice, the parade will exit Par-la-Ville Car Park then turn left onto Church Street, then travel south on Par-la-Ville Road, before moving east along Front Street, north on Court Street, and then west on Church Street.

The list of scheduled performers include the Lions Clubs Of Bermuda, World of Fun Mascots, Lotus Aerial & Wellness Centre, Bermuda Long Riders Club, BGA Group Float, Butterfield Float & Bermuda Heart Foundation, John Barritts & Bermy Bounce Backs Team, MarketPlace Floats & Santa, Bermuda Fire Service/Sparky, Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club, The Portuguese Cultural Association, Sui Generis Dance Team, St. Georges Original Dancerettes, Dancesations, In Motion School of Dance, Rated E Dance Crew, Xquisite-Styles Dance Group, Jackson School of Performing Arts, and the Gombey Warriors.

The thousands of people lining the streets to watch ‘in person’ were joined by thousands of ‘virtual viewers’ worldwide, with over 20,000 views on Bernews live stream, and according to comments viewers came from both Bermuda and all over the globe, including New Zealand, England, Scotland, Canada, Bahamas, Azores, France, Dominican Republic, Philippines; and all over the USA with comments left from people saying they were watching from Seattle, Atlanta, Florida, Delaware, North Carolina, New Jersey, California, Michigan, Alabama, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Kansas and more.
