Woman Transferred From ICU To General Ward

The 29-year-old woman believed to be the driver in the fatal car crash that claimed the life of 30-year-old Rakai Augustus had been transferred from the ICU to a general ward.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check earlier this morning [November 2nd] the injured 29-year-old woman said to be from Warwick and believed to be the driver in the fatal car crash that claimed the life of 30-year-old Rakai Augustus had been transferred from the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to a general ward in stable condition.

“The investigation continues and any witnesses that have not yet come forward regarding the fatal crash around 11:40pm Saturday‎, October 28th in the Wellington Street, York Street St. George’s area between Rose Hill Street and Fort George Hill are urged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.”
