Christmas Window Contest Voting Underway
The City of Hamilton announced that voting for the 2017 Christmas Window Competition is officially underway as of today, December 1st.
Twelve City retailers have confirmed their participation – Alexandra Mosher Studio Jewellers [Front Street store], A.S. Coopers [Front Street], Brown & Company [Reid Street], Crisson Jewellers [Front Street], Demco, Flying Colours, Frangipani, Gibbons Home Store, Gibbons Main Store [Reid Street], Gosling’s [Front Street], Mystique’s and the Stationery Store.
Voting by the public will conclude on December 21st, when the winner will be announced. The public are encouraged to visit the City of Hamilton’s FaceBook Page, where they can cast their votes for their favourite windows. Votes are tallied by FaceBook ‘likes’ on the official competition photos on the City’s page.
The competition is open to all City retailers and there is still time to sign up. Simply send an email to events@cityhall.bm for more information.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded, as well as two honourable mentions.
