TCD Closed Due To Broken Pipe [Re-Opened]

[Updated] TCD is closed this morning [Dec 13] due to a broken water pipe, the Ministry has confirmed, saying that “it is expected TCD will resume normal services by mid-afternoon today.”

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Transport and Regulatory Affairs would like to inform the public that the Transport Control Department is closed this morning due to a broken water pipe.

“Work is underway to fix the damage and it is expected TCD will resume normal services by mid-afternoon today. Please call 292 1271 to reschedule this morning’s appointments. The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience caused.”

Update 11.30am: A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Transport and Regulatory Affairs would like to inform the public that the Transport Control Department has now re-opened following repairs to a broken water pipe. Service has resumed.”
