Change Of Date For East End Tree Collection

The East End Christmas tree collection will not take place tomorrow [Jan 17] due to “staff shortages,” the Ministry said today.

A Ministry spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works regretfully advises that due to staff shortages, East End Christmas tree collection will not take place tomorrow [Jan. 17] as scheduled.

“Instead East End tree collection will take place on Wednesday January 31st.

“West End Christmas tree collection remains on schedule for Wednesday January 24th.

“As a note, members of the public can take their Christmas trees to the Marsh Folly composting facility which is open from 7.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., Monday to Friday and Saturday from 7.30 a.m. until noon.

“The Ministry of Public Works apologises to East End residents for any inconvenience caused.”
