Video: Ameritrade TV Ad Mentions Bermuda
TD Ameritrade has mentioned Bermuda in an advertisement about its services, with a man who was “overly confident on a moped” while visiting the island serving as the subject of the ad.
A quick check shows the video advertisement appears to have been shown recently during news shows on networks including CNN, Fox, and MSNBC.
The advertisement features a couple discussing their vacation in Bermuda, with the husband saying, “We had a vacation early in our marriage, it kind of put us in a hole.”
After saying that the vacation was to Bermuda, his wife counters with, “A hospital in Bermuda.”
The husband then explains, “I got a little over confident on a moped.”
After the couple’s financial adviser explains that, even though they had to spend unforseen funds due to the husband’s accident, they can still “get back on track,” the husband says, “I’d like to go back to Bermuda.”
Great job, BTA!
Just kidding.
They forgot to say why they chose a bike. Buses nevea worked
LMAO! You win.
And no rental cars. I’d be back more often if I could actually drive a safe vehicle.
Very clever concept TD Ameritrade!! Hilarious too!!
As soon as I heard the word Bermuda this stopped me in my tracks this morning as I was leaving to go to work. Funny commerical. Good job Ameritrade – Thanks for the shout out?
